Tasting notes

Eye

A deep, luminous hue.

Nose

Aromas of red and black fruits (raspberry, blackcurrant, ripe cherry), with a subtle woody touch.

Mouth

The same red fruits as on the nose envelop the palate with roundness. The end of the tasting is marked by the wine's velvety texture and long finish.

Service and conservation

Best served between 16°C and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing

Marguerites en Provence Rouge 2021 can be enjoyed as an aperitif, or with tagliatelle with Gorgonzola cheese.

Winemaking


Grape varieties : Syrah, Grenache.
Method : Thermo-regulated vinification and maceration. Aged for 24 months in new Ermitage and Baron barrels made of extra-fine-grain French oak, which add complexity and a fine finish. Fining and filtration before bottling.
